After a silent march to end homelessness in Austin, Texas, KXAN news tweeted this quote from the Austin Police Department. They’re straight up preparing for battle with this kind of speech.
It’s sickening that this is a game to them; that beatings and pepper gas spraying are appropriate for the 10 o’clock news; how the protests that are meant to change the world are being used as entertainment for those too blind or too preoccupied to care. C’mon APD…
