Composed of the biggest corporations in the U.S. including ExxonMobil, Bank of America, and Wal-Mart, the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is a tool used by the 1% to pass greedy legislation. In fact, everything from the anti-union bills that spurred massive protests in Wisconsin to SB1070, the anti-immigrant law that was passed in Arizona were all created by ALEC.
