Dolphins deserve same rights as humans, say scientists

Dolphins should be treated as non-human “persons”, with their rights to life and liberty respected, scientists meeting in Canada have been told.
What does the tribe think of classifying some animals as non-human persons?
This is amazing. Here’s a quote from the article: ”We’re saying the science has shown that individuality - consciousness - self-awareness - is no longer a unique human property. That poses all kinds of challenges.” The aboriginal people of the Earth know that plants and animals have consciousness. It was only a matter of time before science began to come to the same conclusion. Also, for those that are interested, some claim that cetaceans are actually extra-terrestrial beings of a higher plane in their 3-dimensional form. They are said to be a very wise race, guardians of the seas, and important in the upkeep of the light grid that maintains a balanced ecology on Earth. Either way, it certainly seems we have a few more things to learn about our planet.
