I don’t really recommend eating sushi because of the rice, but sashimi (slices of raw meat, usually fish and other seafood, like squid) is amazing.
Today, all I’ve eaten so far is a can of tuna with a tablespoon of chipotle mayo (one cheat for the day - I need to get Veganeise and then I’ll be good), lemon pepper, black pepper, and cayenne pepper atop 2 slices of avocado and 2 slices of tomato. I’ve also had 2 tablespoons of almond butter and about 8 oz. of vanilla almond milk.
I’ll just let you know, I’m not eating less on purpose. I’m just poor right now and I’m scrimping on just about everything. So for those that were thinking this diet was just an excuse to not really eat anything, it’s not. Once my cash flow is a little more stable, I’ll be eating good, full meals each day.
Also, Allan, Eddie, and I all went to this sushi restaurant (Dragon…something, I forget. For those of you in Austin it’s off the Capital of Texas Highway) and we ordered sweet and sour chicken, and 4 different sushi rolls. I had 2 glasses of water - oh yeah! I was proud of myself. Normally I would’ve eaten with them. Bam willpower!
